The Tempest
"We are such stuff as dreams are made on;" Act IV Scene I
Seeking revenge on King Alonso and his brother Antonio, Prospero, the usurped Duke of Milan, shipwrecks them on the island where he has been exiled, an enchanted world inhabited by monsters, spirits and mortal clowns. Through a series of events -- some magical, others earthly -- he begins to succeed with his vengeful strategy. He plans a romantic encounter between his daughter, Miranda, and Prince Ferdinand, son of King Alonso. That inspires a complex reversal of Prospero's emotions, leading to forgiveness, reunion and harmony.

In a forest full of fools and philosophers, Rosalind, dressed as a man, encounters her heart's desire, Orlando, posting love notes to her on trees. Before their passion can be consummated, he must pass a Courtship Challenge. Will Rosalind succeed in educating Orlando in the art of true love? To achieve a bucolic paradise, the fools and philosophers need to find reconciliation, romance and redemption. Will they realize their desires through the healing power of nature? In the mystical Forest of Arden, all will end "as you like it."
